Location. With replicas of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty amidst a New York City skyline, New York New York Hotel & Casino is located on The Strip in Las Vegas, Nev. The hotel is connected via walkway to Excalibur Hotel and Casino and MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. Standing one mile from the Mandalay Bay wave pool, the hotel is adjacent to the lion habitat at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. Hotel Features. The New York New York Hotel & Casino showcases Restaurant Row, filled with cobblestone walkways, steamy manhole covers, street signs and authentic New York City eateries. The Manhattan Express Roller Coaster travels through the mini Manhattan skyline, reaching 67 miles per hour and 144 feet high. A red sparkling apple looms at Big Apple Bar, a lounge filled with red plush chairs and curtains that fall down to enclose the bar during live shows from an elevated stage. Nine Fine Irishmen is filled with authentic Irish furnishings in a two story pub that overlooks "Brooklyn Bridge." The hotel's heated lagoon pool and sundeck are open seasonally. Seven poolside cabanas contain televisions, bar service and refrigerators.
Guestrooms. The hotel contains 2,023 guestrooms in twelve 45 story, New York style skyscrapers. Metropolitan style guestrooms are decorated with dark wood furnishings and grey and tan tones. Illuminated wardrobes hold 42 inch plasma televisions. Bathrooms feature stainless steel fixtures, a tiled, step out shower, spa toiletries and makeup mirrors. Select rooms offer chocolate brown fabric headboards, pattered brown and blue curtains, full length mirrors, marble topped side tables and colorful artwork.
